Lucia's First Haircut!

We've been aware for quite some time that Lucia's been looking a little shaggy. This weekend we decided to take the plunge and give her her first haircut. We gave her some bangs and evened things up in the back. We think she looks so cute! She actually got a mini-makeover this weekend...a manicure (nails cut), haircut and we also changed her earrings. I wonder if they'll even recognize her at daycare tomorrow!

A Day at the Course

On Friday we spent Family Day at the Dubai Desert Classic (Daddy's idea, of course). Lucia got to wear her golf outfit and she and Antonio were twins. Although it was cold and windy, we had a nice time. We even got to see Tiger (can you find him in the background?).

First Day of School!

Sunday, January 27th was Lucia's first day of school! It was so exciting! Antonio and I both walked her to the daycare and dropped her off. She was a little apprehensive at first but soon got very comfortable. She's happy every day when she goes there and she plays so much. She's even gotten a bit better at eating her cereal thanks to her teachers!

A Day in the Park

Last weekend, the weather was wonderful and Daddy was busy preparing his classes, so Lucia and I got out of the house and headed for the park. It was her first time using the swings and she really loved it. We'll have to make sure to do it on a weekly basis.

Bedtime Routine

No matter what time zone you're in or how far away from home you are, there is something to be said about sticking to your routine...bath, massage, jammies, and it all ends with the bedtime story...the good old classic, Goodnight Moon.

Storytime

We've been regularly attending storytime twice a month here at AUS and Lucia looks forward to it every time. Luckily, when we were in Cottonwood, they had storytime at the library there. As you can see, Lucia was very attentive :) Hopefully, when she starts daycare on Monday they'll have something similar.

We're Back...and We Have Teeth!

We had a great time in the US for Christmas and New Year's. Lucia got everything she asked for including her two front (bottom) teeth! It's been a while since we posted so we've got a lot of pictures to catch up on.
