Rolling, Rolling, Rolling...

Raspberries from Milo

Big Boy!

Milo is quickly outgrowing all his clothes. He's mostly wearing size 9 months now...even though he's not even five months old yet. While he was still in utero, his abuela knitted him several lovely outfits (see below). Now that the weather is slightly cooler, he can finally wear them. They won't fit him for long though!

Um, Yeah...

We were at the mall over the weekend helping a friend pick out a bridal shower gift from Victoria's Secret. While considering different nighties and trying to find the best bargain, I let Lucia do a little browsing of her own. The next thing you know, I turn around and this is what I see:

Fashionista

We went out shopping over the weekend and Lucia spotted some Dora the Explorer shoes that she absolutely HAD to have. The next morning, she also insisted on wearing her Dora shirt along with them and proceeded to show me how they match!

More Playground Fun

Milo's getting big enough to actually partake in the playground fun! Here he is side-by-side with Lucia on the slide and then taking turns on the "horsies". Lucy loves to show him how to do things.

Go Panthers!

When Daddy came home this past weekend, he brought with him Georgia State shirts for the whole family. So, of course, we donned them and went around the city looking like a bunch of geeks :)

Long Road Ahead

Poor Milo, he doesn't stand a chance...

Color With Me

These are two videos of Lucia trying to get Milo to color with her. He's not so bad at holding the crayon...

...With Sugar On Top?

Milo's Four-Month Jabs

Note to self: Always make vaccination day housecleaning day. I got so much done! All he did was sleep all day. Here are some shots of him snoozing peacefully. At the bottom is a shot of Lucy in the same bed when she was about two-and-a-half months old!

No More Swaddle

Well folks, it's that time again. Time for the tiny little baby to take that first step toward becoming a big kid. Milo has graduated from the swaddle to the sleepsack. He did well the first night, even with the flash going off in his face while I captured the moment on camera.

The Best Big Sister

Lately, all Lucia wants to do is hold Milo. Nevermind the fact that he's nearly as big as she is!

Bedtime...What's That?

This is what Milo does when he's supposed to be in bed.

Johnny's

Johnny Rocket's has always been a family favorite. The last time we ate there, Lucia got a balloon and a signature hat. These pictures remind me of the days when we used to have our birthday parties in McDonalds...

The Swanky Hotel

We recently stayed at a really nice hotel in Atlanta and while Daddy was working we took advantage of its amenities. Lucy had a relaxing time in the oversized bathtub and Milo in the not-so-oversized sink. And what’s better after a nice warm bath than getting back in bed to snuggle up in the million-thread-count sheets?

Theme Week

Milo's first week of daycare coincided with theme week. Below are shots of "Hat Day", "Crazy Hair Day", and "Jersey Day", respectively.

ABC's

One of Lucia's favorite songs is the ABC song. This is some dated footage of her and Daddy singing. She does sing the entire song by herself. I'll probably have to sneak up on her if I want to catch it on video though.

Like Father Like Son

I just wanted to post a cute shot of Milo in his preppy clothes. All he's missing is a pair of loafers.

Abuela

Abuela was here for two months during the summer. Here's a picture of the kiddos with her.

Mail from Nana

This is a video of the Loveys receiving a package from Nana in the mail. I have no idea why she is calling Nana Ana. She doesn't usually do that. What came in the package was a lovely book about eating family meals (!) in English and Spanish. We check the mail when we come home in the evening, hence the hair. It does not look like that when I take her to school in the morning!

Poolside

Wow, it's been a long time since I last posted! Well, the month of August came and went. These are pictures of Lucia at the pool. Last weekend was the last weekend it was open. We now live in a place where the pool is not open year-round...
At least she got a few splashes in...we'll have to restrict the "swimming" to the bathtub during the winter months.
